With my first child, conception took over our lives and it was all I could think about, forever tracking this that and the other and we were lucky we fell in 5 months.

She's now 2 and we're happily lucking at No 2, I stopped the pill back in November to give my body chance to adjust and Tbf we just avoided sex during that time! Now we're just going with the flow, yet I'm already finding myself back here (can't help it!) reading posts each day, looking at peoples happy news and hoping we'll be the same. What is it with our brains that just make it impossible! baby baby baby that's pretty much my daily thoughts lol

Here's to lots of positive luck for us all Smile

I’m exactly the same. It took us 13 months to conceive our little boy and I said I wouldn’t be back on here and would only poas after AF was late. How wrong could I be!!!

@JohnoWhits I'm glad it's not just me! Doesn't help the standard thing where suddenly everyone's starting to announce pregnancies suddenly! Which I know is pure coincidence as it's suddenly so in my thoughts. Here's to hoping we can both fall quickly Grin

Hi there @Dlah, don’t worry, we can all be crazy together! Where are you in your cycle at the moment?

Cycle day 8, due 25th April. According to Flo app today is the first of my few days before ovulation. We DTD yday just because (which is how I'm trying to keep it) and I'm hoping we'll get in a couple more in next few days without pressuring too much

Oh I’m on cycle day 9. We’re very close! My DH is a chef so is on a four day stretch so no chance of dtd sigh he’s off Monday so hopefully can dtd then and try and get another in over the weekend (I’m going to use it’s his birthday as an excuse to keep dtd 😂)

Cycle somewhere between 5&9 here! (Quite confusing start to this cycle, so I’m not 100% sure). So we’re all in the same boat, ladies! Guessing next week will be busy for all of us if possible :-)

I have caved and bought OPKs (but have hidden them and not told DH...), any experience with these? Basically you just pee in a pot and stand one in it?

How old is your DS @JohnoWhits?

DH seems very up for ttc this month. Apparently he had plans for DDs afternoon nap today, which I have ruined by inviting some friends over for tea. Whoops!

I have already started with the opks which I know from previous experience didn’t help but my god I love to poas! Yeh just pee and dip and obsess over whether it’s as dark as the Control. My lo is 20 Mo now. Is this your first ttc chemist? Hope you make up for lost time. I feel nowhere near to ov and if I did have a chemical last month I’ve no idea what to expect.

@JohnoWhits I've never used opk's, is it worth it or better to just dtd every other and hope?

First day using OPKs. Felt very self conscious! Negative as expected, but I wanted to get an idea of how to use them so I can tell the difference later in my cycle.

I have a DD who is 2.5. Her sleep is completely all over the place at the moment, which makes timing dtd rather difficult. She’s currently having a disastrously late nap, but I can’t bear to wake her as teething is making her a little miserable. We didn’t use OPKs etc with DD1, she took a little while to turn up, but we didn’t mind waiting as we weren’t in a rush. I feel more sensitive about it now as I’m increasingly conscious of the wider age gap we’re likley to end up with. Looking at the bright side that she’ll e less dependent on me when the next one eventually does turn up

I don’t think I used opks when I got pregnant. I feel the same about baby number 2 chemist. But last time stressing really didn’t do my sanity any good. I’m just going to time it as best I can around ewcm. DH is a chef so it’s really really hard to dtd often as he works 16 hour days and I’m in bed by the time he comes home and begrudge losing sleep as our 20mo is a bit hit and miss with sleep too. X
