Repost for new thread :-)

@laurenmclovely - fingers crossed that bloods offer some clarity for you

@hopefulprincess - with pcos you may be like me and just blow a line every time. Will keep you informed - just wish the iproven bbt thing was a little bloody quicker, feel like I’m lying there for ages.

I swear the tww is better than the pre-window wait. Very bored of af now, although it’s only CD (cycle day) 4. Glow reckons 2 weeks til ovulation (let’s see what the thermometers say in due course...). I really need to get more patient!

@Hopefulprincess thanks! When will you be testing??

I'm thinking of testing on Saturday next week, if I get a positive I would love to tell my mum, she's going through a very difficult divorce and I think it would really make her Mother's Day.
And besides, if anything were to go wrong she would be the first person I'd want to tell (but keeping fx crossed that doesn't happen to any of us!)

Thanks guys . Body is behaving weirdly. Had pelvic pressure on and off all day as well as sore boobs. And lots and lots of ewcm even though I'm supposed to have ovulated on Tuesday. Haven't BD'd this month due to little one being poorly and my bf freaks out about having sex when our son is in the house. Literally baffled

Hello everyone!

Sorry been quiet. Been at work all day. Do the OPKs really test better in the afternoon? I always thought it had to be morning?

Ladies I'm soooooo excited. Me and bf have booked a night away child free right smack bang in the middle of April's fertility window. I have a feeling this will be it 😬

@mrsawhite. I read somewhere that LH surges between 2pm and 8pm

Report
pomegranat3 · 22/03/2019 20:31

Hi guys can I join please
@mrsawhite yeah I tested my LH surge in the morning and it was negative then tested again around half 2 in the afternoon and got a smiley face Smile

I'm 13dpo today been having a range of symptoms over the past 10 or so days including cramp/pressure on my left side below my tummy but tested today and BFN
This is my longest cycle yet (CD 30 today), usually 28 days but got my surge on CD 16 so expecting AF 2 days later than normal

@pomegranat3 welcome :-) we’re at all stages here thanks to some mixed cycle lengths last month - think you’re ahead of most of us. Keeping fingers crossed for you!

@mrsawhite definitely afternoons - most packs tell you specifically not to use fmu

@coastaldreamer we’re over here now :-) I’m doing ok, the drop of hormones has helped me chill back out a bit, just grumpy listening to my sister in law whinge about pregnancy. (I know, I know, I should be more tolerant, I’m being very nice and sympathetic in person).

@lauren sounds amazing!!! Depending when mine is, we’ll likely either be at my parents’ (boo - quiet dtd) or Paris (😍)

@ChloePD fingers crossed if you decide to test tomorrow. Just make sure you do with an open mind - a negative doesn’t mean anything yet xx

@Kiskacsa thanks! Didn't know we moved 😬
I know how you feel you're not being spiteful you just wish you could also be pregnant!

Just pasting from the other thread:
Am on CD16 and saw EWCM today... have dtd today but how many days in a row should we carry on, or should we stick to every other day?

Hope we all get our BPFs this time. I find it strangely comforting knowing we keep each other lifted in these threads despite being strangers and talking about such intimate things. Keeps me from going insane :) x

@coastaldreamer - as often as doesn’t feel too forced/unfun? Note that if your OH has a low sperm count then every day may be excessive but if he hasn’t tested then do whatever works www.avawomen.com/avaworld/how-often-should-you-have-sex-to-get-pregnant/

Report
Coastaldreamer · 23/03/2019 00:51

Thanks @Kiskacsa it's only cycle 2 for us so no idea on his sperm count but maybe we'll stick to every other day unless as you say it doesn't feel forced.. don't want him feeling used 😏

@mrsawhite defo afternoon not fmu on opk
@coast hello lovely 😊 glad to see you are ok and yay fertile window! Every 2 days is recommended but it’s up to you I try every day but then I’m greedy 😛😂
Welcome @pome I hope you get your bfp 🙏🏻🙏🏻
@lauren how exciting!!!!!!! That’l be so lovely 😃
@chloe errrrm I think Thursday at predicted 9dpo il start testing because well I love poas and I’m impatient but that’s an improvement from last month 😂 and I hope you can get bfp to share with your mum 💞

Well today has been strange.... soooo tired, moody, tingly boobs, pain in right ovary, gassy I’m never normally gassy! If I have hiccups one more time il go mad oh wait it’s 2.30am I’m awake with hiccups and heartburn 😱 I neeeeeever ever get heartburn last time I did was 27 weeks preggers with my dd 9 years ago 😂 so that’s my moan haha I no it’s too early for symptoms but it’s out of character so thought I’d share with you 💖

Well there you go. Learn something new everyday. Just to clarify though. I'm using clear blue ovulation kit. But not the one I had before which would give me flashy faces etc and then a fixed smiley. This kit just tells me when I've had a surge. So still afternoon testing?

Report
Kiskacsa · 23/03/2019 11:56

Should be same principles @mrsawhite - your urine builds up LH most in the afternoon, so any concentration will be highest then

Just wanted to warn everyone about clearblue easy tests. Took one last night and it was negative but it was still drying an hour later. Looked at it this morning in my drawer with the intention of throwing it away and there is another line! Don't understand how these tests can still be sold with a flaw like that

Lauren that’s an evap they only valid for 10-30 mins so it’s not really a flaw.

Report
Laurenmclovely · 23/03/2019 14:27

I know that but what I'm saying is surely they should rethink the design? I know plenty of women who've been victim to this

Report
MyDcAreMarvel · 23/03/2019 14:28

Not really a line after the time is irrelevant.

Report
Kiskacsa · 23/03/2019 15:28

Blue dyes tend to have worse (ie coloured) evaps - wouldn’t touch another CB non-digital (especially given how expensive they are!). Easier said than done to not look back.

I'm absolutely fine the point I'm trying to make is someone who doesn't know a lot about pg tests could get confused and heartbroken by that. No need for the attitude is there really @mydc.

Report
mrsawhite · 23/03/2019 17:48

That would be the kind of thing I would get confused about!

Does anyone else get spotting around ovulation. Have just started. It's annoying, and I'm not sure how normal it is! I never used to!
