Does it make any difference? A few people now have told me they think it was what made them conceive

I'm not sure if it was a coincidence but the first (and only) month we used preseed we caught (now 38 weeks).

Even if it wasn't, I did like it. Dtd several days in a row can take a toll so I found it better x

We started TTC back in November, used Preseed for two cycles and now I'm currently 6+2 weeks pregnant. I couldn't possibly tell you if the lube was the reason why though!

I think its worth having anyway just in case, without giving TMI I probably would've been quite sore without it!!

Good luck either way. Smile

I don't know if it helped as we never tried without it but using it I fell pregnant the first month trying three times (I had two mc and am now pregnant again) . I say give it a shot because it doesn't hurt to try it and actually we quite liked it 😳

Am I right in thinking it doesn't help you get pregnant per se, but if you need lube a regular one will kill sperm and this one does not?

Sceptical but about ready to throw everything at ttc!

I got pregnant using Conceive Plus second cycle. Ended in mc though and have used it for 5 further cycles with no luck... tbh I just like it, it's more gentle than normal lube.

I used the stuff that you buy from boots (not pressed but can't remember the name) foŕ dc1 don't know if it was that or not though. The same company also has a sperm count test that I thought was quite good too

I guess it's one of those things where you just don't know if it made a difference or if you'd have conceived without. Bought some anyway to see!

We're on cycle 3 of using conceive plus with no joy so far. However, it's in the bottle form and I've wondered if I really ought to be getting it "up there" more.

I know you can buy them in pipette form so you can insert it where it needs to be. I might try that next cycle if I don't get pregnant on this one. I might also switch brands to see if that helps.

Also PP is correct in that regular lube is not good for sperm. But the pregnancy lubes are formulated to mimic fertile CM so in theory it is supposed to help the sperm "swim" up to the cervix.
