Calling all ladies who came off the pill in December (or earlier) and are yet to have any symptoms of anything (ovulation, period, bfp).

I’m feeling a bit alone as everyone else who has recently come off the pill seem to have something happen but I have had nothing. Would be great to hear if anyone else is in this situation?
It’s so frustrating that I have to wait for 3 months before I can see the doctor, I just wish my cycles would come back so we can try to get pregnant. It’s just delaying everything not knowing if I am actually ovulating 😞!

Xx

Hi, I came off the pill last April and didn't have a period or any symptoms at all until July. It does sometimes take a while for things to return to normal.

I have since only had 2 further periods and just been diagnosed with PCOS but this is me not you. Fingers crossed yours will be back soon :)

I know the frustration, its the worst not knowing what is going on. Did you have regular periods before starting the pill?

I took me over 100 days to have a period after stopping the pill. Never been so pleased to see AF!

@cherrylo86 - thank you!! Sorry about your PCOS :(. That’s exactly what i’m worried about, that the pill has been masking something and I have no clue.
I can’t remember my periods pre-pill as it was over 12 years ago but I don’t remember them being an issue so I think they must have been regular.
I guess I just want to know I can ovulate but I have no signs of ovulation :(! I wish I had been told by the doctor to come off the pill in advance of Ttc as now i’m stressing about it lol!

@wannabebump - lol yes i’m getting like that, never thought I’d be wishing on my AF! Lol!!

Thanks for your help and good luck with your ttc journies! X

@TTc2019BabyNo1 Thanks, yes my pill seemed to be masking something as my periods towards the end of taking it became barely non-existent. I didnt want to start trying until September so thought I would give myself a few months to try and regulate myself but that never happened. From October onwards all the PCOS symptoms became more prominent so I knew something was up, GP confirmed it on bloods and I am having a scan in a few weeks and being referred to a fertility clinic as ill probably get offered meds to try and stimulate ovulation. Hopefully you wont be the same and things are just waiting to come back and once it arrives you become regular again :)
