Cramping and spotting after BFP 😩

Hi all, AF would have been due yesterday but I had x3 BFP on tests Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Last period started 22-12-18 so I should be 4 weeks 1 day pregnant today. Have had abdominal cramping like period pain yesterday and lower back pain also similar to period pain, and today have just had a tiny little bit of spotting when I wipe (sorry TMI) like a light pink colour- I am freaking out big time. Has anyone else had this? Thanks in advance

Oh OP I’m sorry. I have to be honest, it doesn’t sound good.

Get yourself to gp tomorrow

Ahh so sorry, it is the most horrible and disappointing feeling seeing bleeding after a bfp.

I think it could really go either way and sorry to say I think you'll just have to wait and see what happens over the next week and hope for the best.

It is apprently common to have bleeding in early pregnancy and I believe implantation bleeds can happen around the time your period is due. With my dc2 I had cramping around the time of my period and was convinced I was about to start af because of it, but it did go away. Another time I had a bfp but starting bleeding a week later and it was an early loss. So it really could be either. But hope for the best for you.

With dc1 I had cramping and light pink spotting (only a small amount) and everything was fine. It's common when you're first period is due apparently.

Fingers crossed for you. Xx

I had similar to this early on in pregnancy, nurse told me it was an implantation bleed and very normal. I hope that's all it is but you might want to see gp or midwife just in case. Flowers
