Hi all,

I thought I would start a new group for everyone in the second month of TTC.

I got married earlier this year and we have been waiting to conceive due to going on honeymoon in Mexico (ZIKA virus), but are now finally trying!

Please feel free to post about yourself and let us know any tips or just how you're feeling!! :)

Hey,

I’m second month off Microgynon! Had my last period on October 16th, so waiting for next one or could be BFP- who knows!!!

It’s really hard not interpreting every twinge, nausea, pain as something it probably isn’t. I’m feeling all these things I never felt before on the pill, which I know is a good thing. But I’m not used to being this out of control with what my body is doing.

How are you finding things?

Katie

Also it was 38 days between withdrawal bleed and my first period. So feel like it’s a waiting game when my next one will be. I’m taking a PG test tomorrow, just in case as I haven’t been feeling right. But could just be those damn hormones playing with me. oh the joys of being a woman and really wanting a little bubba xx

Hey Katie!
Thanks for posting.
I haven’t been on the pill for years so I’m hoping it won’t be too long.
Hopefully after your body has got back to usual and you know what’s going on with your periods you’ll feel better.
I’m so impatient, I’m hating all the waiting around and it seems there’s baby’s all around me at the moment too!
Have you bought any ovulation kits yet or got any apps to track your cycle?
Xxx

Ha ha I know exactly what you mean, I feel like every woman I see has a bump!

I did buy some ovulation tests but to be honest, i found them more of a hinderence than help. I bought the ones that require you to use FMU, and my sleep was becoming disrupted and they were stressing me, so I thought these aren’t for me! How about you? Have you had any success using them?

I’ve become a googler aswell, every little twinge I’m googling to see if it’s pregnancy related ha ha.

How are you finding things? Xx

Sorry I haven't posted back again - I completely forgot!
I am doing good thanks. It is ovulation week so positive at the moment. I'm not sure I'll be saying the same next week when I'm waiting around!
I bought some cheap tests on Amazon but I'm a little confused by them if I'm honest... they just say negative or positive. Surely when you get a positive its too late as you need to dtd before? Confused
How are you feeling this week? What part of your cycle are you on at the moment?! xx

I'm on second month 2! Trying to ignore any signs (I know it's too early) but typical hormones making me feel more things and over thinking. Need to stop. There was a great post somewhere on here that said don't symptom spot as it can mean nothing half the time.

Hey Hana!
Tell me about it. I'm meant to be ovulating today and I have become so obsessed with it all, it's taken the fun out of it.
I feel like we're DTD too much so it's not going to happen Blush
When is your period meant to be due?

AF due 6th Dec so ages to wait! I think we have been obsessive over DTD this last week! I feel the same about it not happening!
