14 days late but 2 failed tests?

I have no idea what’s going on. I’m not on contraception and AF has been as regular as clockwork for months. I’m 14 days late and have tested twice (last week) and both negative. Should I wait and test again or take the negative for what it is and just hope my period sorts itself out?

Sounds like you could possibly be having an anovulatory cycle or delayed ovulation. I’d stop testing for at least a few weeks if still no AF. X

Thanks Mouse. Still no AF and I’ve been having thick cottage cheese like (sorry!) discharge for 2 weeks now!

Cottage cheese discharge screams thrush to me!

Have you been poorly/stressed or recently come off birth control?
I do know my brother in law's sister didn't get a positive result until she was almost 7 weeks. If there's a chance you could be pregnant maybe ask for a blood test at your GPs to confirm.
Have you had any signs it's coming at all such as spotting or cramps?

Hi

I had this exactly the same 2 cycles ago. Never been late, everything as normal, didn't feel stressed. Negative tests.

I went to the doctors at 13 days late, and they said it can happen as a one off, where you can complexly miss a period or you can get it super late and then everything should go back to normal.

To be honest I thought that was rubbish and was probably pregnant just not getting a positive test yet, sure enough I got AF 16 days late!!!! Everything has been normal since so looks like they were right 🙄
