Hello everyone, this month is going to be my first month of TTC (I have never had any children before) me and my partner are both 30. I’ve been taking folic acid but are there any other vitamins i should be taking?
Just saying hello really, I am so nervous it is going to take years to conceive (I’m stressing before I’ve even tried!) Confused

Also my periods are only 3 and a half days long is this normal? Everyone I know seems to last for a week!! I’m worried this makes me less fertile (yes I’m a massive worrier)

Hi there,
I'm sort of in the same boat. I'm 32 TTC #1 but this is my 3rd cycle of trying but I've had a mare with my periods so I don't even know if or when I'm ovulating. I've been taking folic acid too, and also evening primrose because I read it can help with your CM to make it more fertile (sorry, if TMI Grin )

I've been really worrying it will take years too. I naively thought I'd get preggers first month of trying but nope... I'm at the docs tmoro though so hopefully they'll be able to help with ovulation timing etc

Hi thanks for reply! Have you got a period tracking app? I have and it’s been really helpful I use one called Flo Smile

Yes, I've been using Fertility Friend but only for a few months, and because the data I've put in is all over the place, I don't think it's giving me accurate dates to go by

I’ve learnt from my app you usually ovulate about a week after your period ends, keep putting the data in it will soon sort itself out I’m sure! I hope we get good news soon xxx
