Conception Dates

Any ideas?

A male friends partner announced she was pregnant, but, he's not sure he is the father.
Going on the birth date of 9th august, the baby arrived pretty much on time by the edd, the likely conceived dates are stated as between the 9th and 15th November, at which time he wasn't in the country! I understand if her periods were not every 28 days, then this would alter a little, but, does anyone know how many more days either side we could be talking!? What would be the earliest & latest days possible for conception is what he's really wishing to know. The particular reason he has more doubt is that they were only having sex once in a blue moon, yet, he knows she called him back for sex one day, which was somewhat unusual, but, unfortunately he cannot remember the exact date, just that it was sunny 😫, unlikely in November! Men! 😂

Hmmm I think normal ovulation for normal 28-30 day cycles are between day 9-18 with 14 being most common but as early as 9 and as late as 18 being possible. If she has v long cycles or pics this could of course be different and ovulation could be much later, I have seen people on here saying ovulating around day 20/21. But based on the average of she ovulated some time between the 11th and 20th of November, as sperm can live for up to 5 days it is possible that sex on 6th November could have caused conception. So if he had sec with her early November likely he is father. If he didn't and wasn't in country again until after 20th I think it unlikely.

Based on an online calculator I used it gives a conception date of 16th November. However a full term pregnancy is between 37 and 42 weeks long. Does he know for sure what her official due date was? Either way, he needs a DNA test to be sure.

Hi. He knows the baby arrived pretty much on time, within a couple of days max. He was out of the country beginning of November, got home late on the 19th November, but, he's insistent that the one time that they had sex in months, when she called him back, was about 11am. He's adamant that it was sunny! 😂. The 20th November was cold and rain. He's also sure he walked his daughter to school in a checked summer dress! He keeps saying he's sure that when she called him back it wasn't November 🤔

Thanks. I think that is his intention to get a test done, but, he's just wishing to ensure he has justification for his doubt, to request a test to be done, as the lady is rather awkward and difficult to deal with!
