Hello,

I'm new here, so just thought to try this out..

I'm 33, moved here to the UK to be with my hubby two years ago, finally feeling a bit more settled and we are now trying for a baby..!

I've been off the pill since April last year, but we have really just started properly trying this month, calculating days and such.

So my cycle is quite accurate since I've been off the pill, exactly 27 days. However.. my period was due 2 days ago and.. I'm late. Was super excited this morning and did a pregnancy test, which came back negative

I know this is extremely rare to make it happen on the first go, it's just that personally I've been wanting this for quite some time, and I'm guessing some of you might relate to that feeling of just wanting it to happen.... I'm at that age where pretty much all my friends are now with 1 or 2 kids, and I would love to have that too..

I'm hoping the test today came back negative because it's too early to check, I will try again in a week or so..

Anyone had that experience too..?
