Ok so been ttc forever now, have had no contraception for two years and nothing sad
Background:
Have had one child, have endometriosis but not major.
Got put through hormonal menopause in 2014 which stopped oct 2014, they put a mirena in which partially expelled itself Dec 2014 had one depo injection feb 2015 nothing since.
Had an ultrasound scan early 2015 which showed a shadow - cue tears and worrying. Second scan showed nothing - confusion
Dr says that hormone levels are slightly low but doesn't seem to think this is a problem
I am overweight (working on it) have a neurological condition for which I'm in remission (neurologist says it shouldnt impact on fertility)
Cycle is up and down say 29-32 days, periods are heavy and painful but have been all my life.
I'm 28 and have started to notice hair where it shouldn't be etc.
I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to ask about fertility and possibility of pcos
Just wondered what everyone thinks?

It's a nightmare, everyone around me is pregnant and it's getting me down a bit if I'm honest
I've had a couple of late periods recently 1st one was a week late 2nd one was 2 weeks late but no joy.

I know people say not to concentrate on getting pregnant but that's as useful as a chocolate teapot when you're trying isn't it?

Thanks in advance

hi, i think 29-32 days is still counted as regular as its only a bit of variation.
When you say two years of no contraception were you trying to time things in your fertile window?

Using period dates yes, have been using opk kits for past three months and I know it sounds stupid but can't really tell if they're positive or not, I'm going more towards they're negative which would mean I'm not ovulating or they're rubbish tests :/
However sometimes the line is slightly darker than the day before Sonia not 100% convinced

Have you had the day 21 blood test that measures progesterone levels to see if your ovulating?
I wouldn't worry yet but its a good idea to see your gp tomorrow. I'm in the middle of fertility investigations. 3 years of no contraception but have only been doing the timings for 4 months. Nothing wrong found so far though and I'm still confident my time will come as it can take ahwhile sometimes. There's stories of people that take 3 years to conceive their first child, yet their second happens the first month they try. It's all a bit frustrating & random really

My levels are always lower than normal but never so low that they worry, although my gp does seem to miss things on results
With my first it took a year, I had bloods done to gain levels but turned out I was pregnant anyway. I was more irregular then than I am now
It's frustrating
Thank you for your reply, I hope you gain some answers from your investigations xx
