We've been trying to conceive a second child for 20 months, I'm 42 so time not on my side. I've been using a CBFM, period due last Saturday started to feel pregnant last Wednesday, sore boobs mostly. On Saturday did the CBFM pregnancy test and an Internet cheapie test, both negative, resigned myself to not being pregnant. However, by Monday still no period so did another CBF,M test which was positive, and got a very very weak positive on an Internet cheapie, we were over the moon! However since then I've done a few more cheap tests that are still very very faint barely readable and a tesco digital which said not pregnant, I still have sore boobs and no period, I'm worried that this could be an early missed miscarriage, anyone got any words of wisdom for me? Xx

If you've only had faint lines so far it could be there wasn't enough hcg for the Tesco test to pick up. On these forums a lot of people recommend FRER (First response early response test) to pick up pregnancy early FX
