TTC after Mireya

Hi,

We're thinking of TTC no 3 soon. Just wanted to know how long it took you to conceive after having mirena coil removed?

I was on the pill between DS & DD and fell pregnant quite quickly when I came off that.

I understand everyone is different just wanted to hear some experiences.

Hi Champers, i conceived within 2 weeks of mierna removal, I didn't even have a period, just a day of light implantation bleed. Unfortunately the pregnancy failed but at least i knew i could conceive so quickly.

The Sonographer said my womb lining was very thin and not able to support the pregnancy. They suggested having a couple of periods to help thicken it.

That never happened, i got pregnant again without a period and am now 18+1 weeks and all going well! Good luck x

I too conceived quickly: on second 'proper' cycle after mirena removal. Feel very lucky! I'm now 6 and a half weeks, and it seems to be going ok, early scan in 2 weeks as I'm high risk, so hopefully I'll find out more then. I've heard of plenty of other women who it took a bit longer for, and I think there was another thread similar to this a couple of weeks ago, so you might want to search for that. All the best!
