Epididymitus and ttc

Hello, just wondering if anyone has any experience with this....

In jan OH had months course of antibiotics for epididymitus which seemed to cure the problem so started ttc #2 in Feb. No luck so far and in July OHs symptoms came back and he's been on another course of antibiotics which he's just finished. So far so good and going to start ttc again. I'm just very worried from what I've read on internet re problems with sperm count and potential infertility following this type of infection. Not sure if the effects would be long term!

Anybody had any experience with this (positive or negative as want to prepare myself). Any responses very much appreciated! Thanks :) x

My DH had it in May. It hasn't come back again so far. He randomly managed to get a sperm test off the back of me having irregular bleeding one month (long story) but anyway his sperm was perfectly normal so in our case it's not caused any problems!

No worries. We were stressed about it too at the time. Just feels like the last thing you need when you're TTC doesn't it! We are also TTC2. Good luck!

Good luck to you too! I hadn't even thought too much about it at first to be honest until I started to google which was inevitably a bad idea! But I suppose I'm reading worst case scenarios and most likely all will be ok :) fingers crossed as daren't suggest a sperm test as my Oh already thinks I'm getting obsessed and shouldn't be stressing about it.... I've only just convinced him to take vitamins!!

Yeah googling anything TTC is a really bad idea isn't it. Always some negatives stored whatever you're looking at! I'm sure you'll be fine!

Thanks 😄
