Hello girls,

I have come off my Cilest pill on the 6th June this year after 4 years as me and my partner are ttc. My question is, how long did it take you to become pregnant after stopping the pill? I've heard bad things about Cilest so I'm a little worried :S

Thanks! SmileFlowers

Ah thanks! I didn't find out I was pg until 6.5 weeks, had no period to date it from and I'm a bit slow to notice pregnancy symptoms! I had sore boobs mostly so tested on te off chance and it was positive. That was nearly 4 years ago now and my daughter is a treasure :-)

I got pregnant within the first month of coming off it.

Period pain and no period was my early pregnancy symptom!

When is your period due?

Thank you! I felt the same as I did when I conceived DS. Had a really upset tummy for a few days anout a week before I tested. Other than that nothing. Just that I can normally tell when my period is going to start 3/4 days before it does and I had none of the mild crampy pains like I normally get. Good luck waiting to test! I managed to wait for a week after my period was due just to be sure!

Stopped taking it after 10 years at the end of February. And was pregnant by May. I was keeping note of when my period was due and it just never came. So that day (after work around 6pm) took a test came back positive! Didn't have any signs at all other than a missed period. Now we have a beautiful 6 month old daughter Grin

Slight breakthrough bleed after stopping cilest mid packet then pregnant before a proper period even appeared. Same again with second child after stopping microgynon.

It's so reassuring to hear all of your stories! I have just heard bad things about someone off the pill but I feel better about it now. Although I am getting sorry yellow discharge at the moment (sorry for TMI guys :() so I'm not sure what that means !
