Please forgive me in advance for putting you all through this! but im at a loss. what is this? It's not accompanied by any odor, itching, or cramping.
Yesterday i had thin lotion like mucus, then lots of this yellow, jelly like mucus today which is super sticky.

Is your period due soon? I use that as a sign to batten down the hatches as the witch is on her way.

It's possible that I could be pregnant, this is why I'm asking Smile does anyone have any ideas what this is if not fertile?

I get cm that looks like that a few days before AF. It's normal to have fertile looking mucus before Af arrives. Mine tends to be tinged with blood. But you say your Af isn't due for 10 days? I would also say it's too soon for implantation spotting.....how many dpo do you reckon you are?

I have that at some point in my cycle. Can't remember when. I've not had a cycle in well over a year.

I would say that anyone who is even mildly shocked by this thread, which did have a clear warning in the title, really isn't ready for the delights of pregnancy. Or young children.

Haha my comment was more aimed at whoever thought a picture was too much. Like we could help without seeing it!

So you have missed a period? Have you done a Pg test?

Hi OP, I remember having cm like that when we were ttc DS2 and desperately googling pics Blush. I'm afraid it turned out to be the start of AF in the end.

I'd even had implantation bleeding with DS1, so I should have known it didn't look like that (more like dark red dried blood on wiping and only a tiny amount). However, I guess it's different for everybody, so fingers crossed you're pg anyway.

Fwiw, I would have found more pictures like this on mumsnet v useful at the time, and you did put a warning on it, so don't worry about that!

Looks exactly like my mucus plug did.

Thankyou for being so supportive everyone. I was very worried about how those pictures might kick up a storm. To me this is just a natural bodily function which most women go through at some point or another, and this is extremely mild compared to actual childbirth mess!! from all my googling it seems more like mucus plug, but would it even be possible to loose some of that at 5 weeks? Maybe the cm is from it forming... Or the dreaded af as said. I'm waiting until my next period is due to test, as I done some and it was way to early to do so lol, my mother also didn't show up on tests until 10 weeks plus x

For God's sake it's a picture on a board where we constantly discuss CM, periods, shagging, get over it.

I get that before AF although I wouldn't take it as an indicator that you are not pg... pregnancy cm can be all kinds of crazy but most people say they have creamy/lotiony cm in early pg rather than jelly like.

Good luck Flowers

I'd do a test, OP.

You only lose your mucus plug in labour so regardless it's not that. You say your period is late so it's not fertile cm, that would have happened about 2 weeks ago. Maybe do a test.

In labour = technically in advance of labour
