Hiya, I'm after a bit of help as feeling very confused and on the verge of going crazy! We've been ttc our second for 2 years this cycle without a whiff of a line on a positive test in all that time. On Monday I did a frer and there was a very faint line, same on Tuesday. However, I've had negative results on many more tests including Boots own, Wilkos own and 3 clear blue digitals. My dh is refusing to accept I'm pregnant because there's too many negatives.

Both of these frer couldn't be faulty could they??

Confused!

Did the lines on the FRERs appear within the expected timeframe?
They definitely look positive to me and are often more sensitive than other tests.
Why don't you do another FRER tomorrow and, if you see a line, you should assume you're pregnant!
There is no such thing as a false positive but false negatives are common, especially with less sensitive tests.

Please keep us posted, good luck and fingers crossed for you!!!

Yeah they both arrived within the time frame. I'm going to go out today and get some more frer.

Thanks!

Monday, Tuesday and today. There's no way I could get 3 false positives is there?!

Very unlikely, you are PG but probably too early for a digital test.

Give it a few days and an early morning pee and I bet you're in business :)

Just a quick update. I went to Drs about the fact that still getting negative on anything but a first response and they took blood tests which showed my hcg to be only 16. They've repeated the test today and I'll get the results tomorrow but I've had heavy red bleeding and extreme stomach cramps so it looks like I've had a chemical pregnancy. Thanks for your replies though x
