Hello. I'm in the same boat. Xmas Smile. I'm currently recovering from a laparoscopy. I don't know what stage but I have seen the endo damage (yet). My left tube looks rather unhealthy too.

Just starting the ttc journey because we wanted to make the most of the magic 6 months after the lap. It all came about very quickly so I'm just adjusting.

Hello birdboo. Xmas Smile Sorry to hear that you have just undergone and are recovering from a laparoscopy. I hope you aren't too sore still.

Is this your first cycle and are you trying for your first child? I have heard good things about the magic six months, so hope it works out well for you.

Hello Voldys, of course. Hopefully we will be able to support each other and quickly get pregnant.

I am due to test at the end of this week, which will either be a great Christmas present or involve several consolation mulled wines. I usually convince myself that I have loads of symptoms but I haven't been able to delude myself into a single one yet this cycle, which doesn't bode well at all.

TTC second here as well. Two early MC this year sadly. Have been diagnosed with PCOS and suspected endometriosis too - though am waiting to see gynecology again.

Have got my fingers crossed for you Fuzzy.

Hi Voldys

It's my first everything. Cycle and time ttc. It feels very strange tbh I'm not a natural baby person but love kids once they start to interact more with the world.

I have worked out AF is due the same time we will be with them at New Year. They know everything that's happening but I don't think they really get what might happen. They think it's the same as DH cousin who had an ectopic pregnancy. The PIL are a very open family so they would be more hurt if it was kept private but at the same time but I'm not sure how to politely tell them how endometriosis works? I have inherited it from my Mum so my side "know" what to expect.

Thank you Voldy. Sorry to hear about your miscarriages; they are so heartbreaking. I hope your wait isn't long to both see a gyaene and have a successful and healthy pregnancy.

I wasn't a baby person at all birdboo but that all changed when I had my DD. I am still not convinced I am overly enthralled by other people's babies though but I am certainly far more tolerant and confident with them. Do your PIL know the term endometriosis because, if so, it could be that they will do their own research or know someone with it. It surprised me how many people do know of it and also suffer, considering I hadn't really heard people talk of it before I was diagnosed. If it helps, I got pregnant my third cycle of trying and after I sadly miscarried, it only took three more cycles (although one didn't really count to me as I didn't ovulate) to get pregnant again after having an ERPC.

For me, the longer I stay off contraception without getting pregnant, the more risk I have of further scaring and it taking longer to get pregnant or my fertility being affected. I am now on my fourth cycle since AF returned after giving birth, but we have only really tried and got our dates right for two. Therefore, I see next month as being my third cycle and (hopefully) my third pregnancy... But maybe I am being too optimistic!

Sorry to hear about you mc ladies. Flowers

My PIL know the term and DH has tried to explain. My SIL fell pregnant first cycle and the pressure is coming from them. My Mum had endo too and ended up with a hysterectomy. So there is zero pressure on my side because they have already been there.

I saw the Dr today who was so unhelpful I don't know why I bothered. I seemed more a hindrance to his day more than anything. He wasn't interested in the ttc or if there was anything on my notes about my damaged tube.
