I recently just received my first Depo shot on July 16th after switching birth controls and have decided I would like to stop all birth controls and begin trying to conceive with my partner (hence we stopped all forms of "protection"). I took an ovulation test around what used to be my normal cycling time, on the 30th and it came back positive. I thought the Depo was supposed to prevent ovulation, could it really be possible to conceive during this cycle or will I really have to wait for my first Depo to clear from my system before I am successful?
