Genuine thread - do you think this is an evap line?

I'm approx 9 dpo, I tested totally negative this morning. Held my wee and tested this evening and I got the following test;

I will test again tomorrow morning and might go out and buy a brand or something if the internet strip looks positive. I have had evaps in the past with ICs but they were never so bright pink. The thing that makes me question it is it's slightly smudgy on one side

I dont know the time limit as I had to wait for all the pink dye to clear totally which does take a bit of time. Between three and five mins I would say.

You know it's funny as I have pissed on these sticks loads in the last month to make sure they cleared totally after my mc. I have since pissed on them a lot to see if I could see a line in this second cycle and I couldn't force anything like a line out of them. Now I get something that looks like a faint positive I'm sure it's an evap line!! Never happy lol

We've decided I shouldn't test in the morning as it will upset me too much if it's negative. I'm due on in three days so I'm going to see if I miss my period and then test next week. Hoping if it's a chemical I won't feel so attached to it if I end up bleeding out.

I can see a line - I think you are right to wait to see if AF arrives and retest.

I actually had clearer tests when I tested in the evening so if you poas in the morning and still arent sure maybe try again at night?

This is very clearly a line. It should only get darker with FMU!

PMSL fed up I didn't piss on a stick, I pissed on two!!! . Why do I have no fucking resolve? I harassed OH so much he just told me where he had hidden them.

Anyway, upshot is there is still a line, but not as strong, so I am really none the wiser. It could be positive, it could be an evap, it could be a chemical. I am going to have to just sit tight and wait it out.

Honestly sebs I would buy a diff brand - those cheapos can be a bit dodge. Get a superdrug pink dye - 2 for £4. They are 10 mlu (whatever the last bit is) but are really reliable in my book much more than 'is it an evap, cheapie' that totally messes the brain!!

I would say that the line is an evap. I have had them a few times, particularly in one batch. The unclear edges are the giveaway. It is a nasty cruel thing. However I do hope I am wrong and it is the start of rising hcg levels.
