I had a positive opk this morning 8am (negative last night) my hubby is due home Thursday roughly 2pm, have we missed my window?

I don't really understand how they work, plus I brought from ebay so didn't have any instructions. they are called family planning

Do another now..... I know you're not supposed to use first morning urine due to false positives.

But aside from that OPKs tell you you'll ovulate in 24-36 hours. After ovulation you'll be fertile for 12-24 hrs. So worst case scenario fertile time ends tomorrow evening, best case Thursday night.

Are you sure they are positives? Mine get darker and darker but when it's a positive it's much darker than the control and unmistakable. When I first started using them I thought I was getting lots of positives but they were actually negative as they were dark but not as dark as the control?

Mine were internet cheapies too, but came with instructions which basically said you may always get a line but to disregard until it is as dark or darker than the control!

If you start temping and combine it with opk it'd work better!

I was sure at the time but I guess I might be mistaken, I will do another when I get home tonight.
I guess what will be will be.
I am just hoping I haven't ovulated yet maybe I should try and forget about it as my dh is only home for a few days.

Thanks for you replies x :)

Hi, don't know if it will help but I read a post on another website from a natural fertility expert on how to tell when you are fertile. Its quite informative but mainly about recognising your bodies signs leading up to and during fertility. I t may be worth a read and help you understand hats going on? The link to the post is forum.prideangel.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=537 Hope it helps and good luck!! xx
