Has anybody had a negative test and later discovered they were pregnant ?

Ok. I have a normal 28 day cycle. Af was due last Wednesday . Did test on sat - negative . Test yesterday negative. I do feel different but driving myself mad with this. Has this happened to anyone?

Yes but it was an early pregnancy test and I tested 2 days early. On the date AF was due I tested positive

Yes, me! AF late and I feel different but just getting BFNs - what is going on?! It is driving me uetterly mad too. My sympathies - hope you get a BFP!

Yes but only after a + test, then had a few negatives, then back to positive. I was about 4 weeks.

I finally cleared it up by using a clearblue digital.

I did with my daughter - thought I was pregnant on 19th of the month as had a minor bleed - implantation, tested on 24th negative repeated on 27th got a positive, Used cheapy tests of ebay and daughter turning 1 this month.

Im in the same boat as you atm, my AF was due a week ago, im 5weeks since the first day if my last AF, and still I did a test this morning and BFN. Some people dont get the results till more weeks than that, but im now wondering whether I should spend a bit more money on a test like clearblue or first response? I used a superdrug one this morning. So confused right now! ! I can totally sympathise with you. [Smile]

Me too!
I am 11days late with lots of ambiguous signs - stomach cramps, slightly tender boobs, emotional wreck - but BFN. Went to GP got another BFN and booked in for a blood test. He suggested I might not be late but just "skipping this period". I'm super regular and it's infuriating! Think I'm just convincing myself I'm pregnant because I want to be.
Has anyone else skipped a period when ttc?

I am quite regular to Charing so I feel your frustration!! I just wondering whether I should be using a different test. Currently using superdrug ones. Ive not a skipped a period yet! I know what you mean about convincing yourself pg bcos you want to be I am the same, when all I want to do is try and not get my hopes up, but its so difficult when all I get is BFN. Let me know how you get on?

I've had both experiences, skipped a period entirely and then a few months of regular periods later had several negatives when AF was due and then a few days later got a BFP. Fingers crossed for you!

Yes! I conceived on June 18th - did a test 15 days later (which was negative), did another 20 days later - negative. Finally on July 11th - 23 days later which was positive. I know I conceived that day as it was the only time that month we dtd and I left a couple of days later on holiday without DH (cue lots of comments about how the baby must've been conceived on holiday with some dark, handsome stranger). It turned out to be the most trouble free pregnancy I ever had - just not sure why he took so long to show positive.

Yes I did. Tested on a friday, was negative, went out and got pissed had a couple of drinks, still no period by monday, so tested again and was positive. Ds is fine btw.

I had a negative with DS2, but being the desperado that I was, fished it out of the bin a couple of hours later and there was a faint line!

Feels good to talk about this I'm not out of the ttc closet and so the only person I can talk to ISP my chap and he is fab but goes a bit pale at the word period let alone the rest!!!

AF today and v bad period pains so not preggo after all. 12 days late - my body is just teasing me, I've never been more than a day late before in my life!

Oh charing sorry to hear that :0 ( but the positive thing is that you are no longer in limbo. Plus it means you can have a blank canvas to work from again with the start if s new cycle! With our DS I had a really long cycle just before, then fell pregnant that following month so keeping pinkies crossed for you. I gave in yesterday and got of fed up of waiting so decided to relax and just dtd with OH for purely fun. Had a little bit of pinkie blood (really small amount) and this morning have had some dribbles (sorry if tmi) of browny blood so now worried I may have ruined any chances. I have rechecked my pad yet but keep feeling little trickles. Has anyone had that spotting when possibly pregnant? And how long did it last?

Im in the same boat as you! Im 3 days late and and have all signs and symptoms of pregnancy but test this morning showed up negative?! Im so confused so i definitely know where you're coming from! I feel for you!

Thanks Abibub! Had to endure dinner with my pregnant sister in law last night (she is lovely and it's so horrible of me to be all secretly jealous) Have the blood test on Tuesday but obv not much point in going but......a little bit of me is tempted. just so I'll definitely definitely know i'm not and then can ignore all those niggling doubts! Although if if I get bfp after so many bfn and bleeding which looks v much like af it'll be some mutant alien baby and I'll have new things to worry about

Oh bless ya charing I know what you mean about being around pg ladies though, sometimes I think it makes our obsession 10times worse which means we put the pressure on ourselves way too much. Go to docs if you still wish to, I go with my gut instinct, so that one is totally your choice. Well I got my af headache and then af is here, but I had big pains and a big amount of clotting, sorry if tmi, so my instinct (and from previous experience) is telling me I had another chemical pg. The environment clearly isnt right just yet for an ickle bean to grow. Blank canvas for me again now! I hope you lovely ladies have all the luck in the world to get your BFP soon !

Yes, I tested negative with my DD (who is now 17!) at 28 days.

I knew I was pregnant though - really nauseous, feeling faint, couldn't eat etc. A few days later, voila.
