I'm up the duff! I kept thinking about joining a 2ww thread but didn't want to get my hopes up. Did a test yesterday and it came up with a faint line. Can't believe it! We've been trying 4 months but this last month we were shagging every other day and then I lay with my legs up in the air afterwards! I read about that on here soIl thought I'd try it...and it worked.
Just wanted to share some positive news and wish you all good luck!

Thanks K8eee. I tried to hold off as long as I could. I have a longish cycle, so waited till day 40. It's a killer waiting though isn't it! I kind of knew though, as I got terrible round ligament pain when I first conceived DD1, so when I had the same twinges, I knew. Didn't believe it till I saw the line though!
Good luck to you. Hopefully you'll get your +ve result soon. But enjoy all that carefree shagging in the meantime!

It is an absolute killer! That's lovely to hear!!! At least you have some idea what to expect:) I have a consultation with the gp Monday, not sure whether I should get tested while I'm there or wait a few more days, maybe until next weekend? Argh I'm driving myself crazySad DH thinks I should wait a couple of months worth of periods!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow your DH has more patience than me! I guess if you've just come off the pill things might take a while to settle down. A cheeky test at the Dr's wouldn't hurt though would it?

Well he's desperate for a family, but he doesn't understand the scans at certain weeks either! So naive haha. I said to him leave it three months?! The first scan is between 10-12 weeks!!!! Yeah exactly what I thought. I have got tests at home but thought a freebie at the drs may be an option. Hey I pay my NI, i want to use it Grin

Congrats style isn't it a lovely feeling....I'm currently 13+5 and still remember that day of testing and the excitement and Cheshire Cat grin I had when my BFP showed...All the best for a wonderful happy healthy pregnancy. Get yourself on the December Bus thread....it's really nice having others going through the same things as yourself :-) xx

Thanks flyerSmile

It can't your right, but am a bit skeptical just because I am unsure of if its just a missed period I don't know Sad and I guess I won't unless I test or wait!

Thanks Flyer. It hasn't sunk in yet. When I got pg with DD we weren't exactly trying as I wasn't having periods. I only found out by going to the dr about these weird cramps and ligament pains. It was weird planning it and then doing a test - just didn't seem like it could be positive.
I will track down the Dec bus now...and stalk you there!

Thanks Fairypants. We went out for a meal with BIL and SIL. There were a few suspicious looks when I ordered orange juice, but managed not to spill the beans!
