Wanting to test but dreading the disappointment!

We are TTC no 2, our DS was a bit of a struggle to conceive but after a lap and dye and just before clomid we managed it
So I'm on day 31 of what is at the moment normally about 29/30 day cycle. (My cycles have been great since I had DS. He is 2.3 and we have been using withdrawal method up to Christmas and since have been trying properly. Last cycle I was convinced I was preggers, I had every early symptom you can imagine but AF came bang on time, I was gutted. So this month I was convinced I wasn't pregnant but now no AF and I have a metallic taste in my mouth (probably caused by last nights Chinese ) I want to test just to know but don't want to see another neg result. It's awful just waiting for AF
Anyone else out there?

I know how you feel hunny :-( AF is late too and I promised myself I wouldn't poas but gave in yesterday. Bfn of course but AF still hasn't shown either :-( I can't really offer any advice, even if you poas and it's bfn it's not over till AF arrives. So not really sure how to take my bfn from yesterday! Fx for you xxx

Glad to hear I'm not the only one arguing with themselves over POAS. Sorry about your bfn, it's just so disappointing
I'm so hormonal today which is not helping matters!
Extra bread and butter pudding needed!

Haha after I tested I got back in bed and ate a whole Easter egg! When dh came home from football at like 3pm I was in bed! He thought I was sick! I'm ok today, over the initial disappointment! Xxx

I have had many months where I've been in your situation, do I test don't I test to only be left disaapointed but my view always was while your not testing there is still hope. Of course even if u do test and its a bfn there is still hope as hormone may be delayed but its an awful feeling this ttc malarky. I'll keep my fingers crossed for u x

Well having admitted the urge to my DP, he is insisting I wait till Tuesday(CD33)! Will have to try to hold out till then and see if AF comes in the mean time. So some chocolates and bread and butter pudding will have to keep me going!
