Have 13 year old dd & 3 year ds.
Reasons for...I really want to be pregnant one last time.
I would love a third.
Feel so broody.
We have all baby things we need.
Feel we have enough love in our home for another.
Don't want another huge gap.

Reasons against
We are skint
Our house is very small
About to start new job

What would you do?

For or against?

Is there ever a perfect time for a baby? Only you know what you would regret most? Wink
Op have you discussed this with all the members of your family,Dh and Dc? Maybe you could "sound them out" they're immediate reactions will tell you all you need to know! Grin Thanks

I agree with mrssmartarse with one caveat- think what you want before talking to dc's. we told dc's we were thinking about it to sound them out and now they are hounding us daily- vv positive. It would be hard to say definite no or hold off more than a couple of months with the pressure they are putting on us now. :)

Teen years just starting: still lots of outgoings and later on, further education costs. Are you going to cut back or do away with family holidays? Will you manage childcare okay? How will you arrange bedrooms?

Were your first two easygoing unfussy babies? Did they adopt good sleep patterns early? If they did, no saying a 3rd will be as amenable.

As long as DH is equally keen and ready to share the workload, go for it Smile.

Thanks for replies. Think my teen dd would like another db or ds but is sick of us having no money. When asking my 3 year old ds he says no!!
My heart says yes my head says no!
We have tried for the last 18 months but it's not happened & kinda feel like maybe not meant to be! x

Going to go with my head and stop
Trying.
I'm sick of having no money.
Our house is too small.
We can't afford an extension just now.

I so regret leaving such a big gap. Thought it would be better to complete nursing degree & buy our own home.
I now realise the gap is huge, I'm getting too old (35) and we're crippled with paying out £900 per month for tiny house.

Need to try & appreciate my 2 lovely children & stop feeling broody.
