Implantation bleeding? Early period? Something else?

Hi ladies,

Long time lurker, occasional poster,hope you can give me some hindsights on what's going on, I'm well confused.

My last period was on the 2nd of Feb, though it was delayed by over week, most probably because I was on progesterone to try & avoid another mc.

Today I had some light spotting, nothing much, similar to what I get a couple of days before AF properly arrives.

Before I get all excited about implantation bleeding etc, could this be an early period? Would the previous artificially delayed period mean that this one would arrive early? Or does it have nothing to do with it? AF is usually bang on time every 28 days.

Also, I took progesterone two days ago (I forgot it yesterday) so wouldn't that stop any sort of bleeding? Should I worry this is not at all baby related but an infection or worse? (my mum got diagnosed with cancer recently & I'm mega paranoid now).

I should just go to the doctor but I'm abroad till next week end and I'd rather go once I'm back in the UK. Would you go here anyway in case it's something bad? Or should I relax, keep on taking my progesterone and hope for a BFN in a few days?
