Hi everyone,
I'm a de-lurker, this is my first thread. I'm 38, DP 46, been TTC for #1 since May. We've both been checked out, he's fine, my hormones are crap (low AMH, high FSH). We're about to start Fostimon 150 for 3 goes of IUI, then if that doesn't work we've been advised to move on to egg donation.
So here are my questions:
- How and when do I start planning for egg donation? It would be convenient this summer: when should I start contacting clinics?
And 2. this is the real problem: where to go? I live in France, and restrictive laws here make it a non-starter. We have three choices: Alicante, where my in-laws live, somewhere in East Anglia, where my family lives, and somewhere in Belgium, which is relatively easy to get to.
Can anyone talk me through the pros and cons of each choice in terms of cost / ease of access / support?
