I have had the Implant in for nearly 3 years, coming up to getting it removed. For the past week i have been experiencing tiredness, severe back pains (had to get strong pain killers from doctors) sickness, very bad dizzy spells and so hormonal its ridiculous. These are symptoms that ive experienced when pregnant with my two other children.
However when researching this symptoms with the implant online it seems like it is a natural occurance from the implant.
Baring this in mind this is the second implant i've had in and i've never had these things happen before to me, i do have an appointment on monday with my doctor about replacing the implant with a new one. i now have a paranoid and anxious husband who wants me to get a pregnancy test but im still unsure.

would love to know if others have experienced any of these symptoms or have become pregnant while on the implant.

TY :)

Hiya.

I'm currently on my second implant and am experiencing strong pregnancy symptoms which I didn't experience first time round. However I know I can't be pregnant as using condoms as well so I'm putting it down to just side effects of the implant.

Although as you are at the end of the 3 years i'd do a pregnancy test. As it quite often decreases in effectiveness just as its coming up to the end of 3 years....

Just explain to the doctor when you go and they'll do a pregnancy test there and then Smile
