2WW almost up, vaguely aware of the dates, no symptoms at all and I'm a symptom spotter. Mentioned to other half was expecting AF shortly and had no symptoms etc. He grinned, and said he thought this would be our month and it felt good to him. Well now I can't stop thinking maybe we did it, will we be lucky. Can feel AF creeping up on me now.

Does anyone else think maybe it shouldn't be mentioned until well after the 2ww? I think we just goad each other on and set ourselves up for a little disappointment.

I think it is good to be positive, hopefuly and optimistic without getting too hung up about things in the 2ww (which I have definately done!)

I like pessimism. Expect AF, then at worst you get the smug self-satisfaction that comes with being right. I also think it's a good idea to make a plan to do something on the day you're due, to have something to distract from the 2ww and to cheer you up when the joy of being right isn't quite enough.

Thanks ladies. I like the being smug Winkly, suits me down to the ground. Yesterday wasn't so bad but today I'm on my lonesome with my thoughts and dreading AF, also dreading if I have to tell him AF has arrived.
