Hi all ... many of you may not know my situation, that beeing that we've been TTC for ever and ever and that I have PCOS. I have lost 3.5 stone over the last year and actually had AF from New Years eve! Anyway, the last few days I've had what I can ont describe as period type pains and yesterday afternoon/evening I had the slightest stlightest dark bron spotting. Nothing major, I onlt noticed it when I wiped after having a wee. Now, I am on CD22 and we BD at the right times for a normal 30-ish day cycle (remembering that my last cycle was 97 days! I'm lucky to have two AF a year!!) ... tell me if these are possible implantation signs or am I just dreaming? never had them before, boobs are tender-ish if I press hard (or DP squeezes!, I have no nausea, but I have been off work for several days with a bad back ... so, thoughts??

Well done for losing the 3.5 stones; this has certainly helped with the underlying problem of PCOS.

Are you under the care of a gynae with regards to PCOS?. With this condition it is unlikely that you are ovulating regularly especially if periods are irregular (as they often are with PCOS). Dark brown blood is usually "old" blood, it may be that your body is getting to have another AF.

Would seek medical advice in any event, particularly if you are under the care of a gynae.

Thanks! Am certainly under the care of a gynae, and have been forever. My ocarian scan didn't show up any cysts, but I have every other possible symptom, the extra hair, weight probs, no periods etc. Have researched this on the web and everything points to a possible pregnancy, my DP even says my boobs look 'fuller' and my nipples look 'different'. None the less, we bothe know that it could be wishful thinking! LOL! Always hopeful though

I had similar experiences when stressed (and definitely not PG!) and then at 5 ish weeks PG (before I realised I was PG). My bleeding was light brown spotting with cramps, like a period that never got going, that lasted for a few days.

My spotting has been hardly noticeable, only when I wipe after having a wee. I've never had this before, hence me being so sure I could well be. Oh, and I was woken up with nausea ta 3am, 5.30am and 6.50am ... again, could be wishful thinking!

it's just so hard to say - as symptoms for PMT and early PG can be very similar. also there has been this nasty tummy bug going round as well.

Not heard of the tummy bug ... It's just a waiting game I guess!

Becky, I guess you are just having to wait and see. If you are on day 22 then it is only another week. (i know it is a long itme when you are waiting for somethig) If you af has not started by this time next week they do a test.

I'm now CD 28, and I took a test on Friday which was negative ... so I'm going to take a test nest Saturday and see what that brings. I've been getting some nausea, today the worst of all, boobs seem to be growing but still not sore ... you start to wonder if you're imagining things. I'm also emotional, but that's probably just the not knowing. Oh, and I'm quite loose in the tummy (not diahorrea but quite loose). It's just a waiting gaame I guess!
