Hiya everyone,

My GP has referred me today for investigative tests after 14 months TTC, and told me to check my work's medical insurance as sometimes tests are covered - I've checked and thankfully they are [but no treatment is included, hopefully this will get the process kickstarted anyway].

I don't know where to start to find a consultant, Bupa said to find one then call them back - can anyone recommend one in the Coventry/Warwick/Rugby area thats covered by Bupa? I'd like to avoid the University Hospital @ Walsgrave if poss and going private I guess I can take my pick, although I'm sure I'll end up there at some point.

Thanks all, I know I'm bloody lucky to at least have this bit covered, I just don't know where to start!

Any recommendations greatfully received x

I only have experience of Walsgrave, but they were excellent, and when I was undergoing fertility treatment 6 years ago, had the highest success rates of any fertility clinic in the Midlands. Whilst the hospital gets a bad press at times, I found the Centre for Reproductive Medicine and the labour/postnatal care outstanding.
