how often are people doing the deed then?!

I've dtd in day 8, 11, 15 this month.

And planning on dtd on day 16, 18 and 19 too!

And then it's the 2 week wait....!

I have to be honest, I haven't put much science behind it when we were trying to conceive. Just tried to have sex every other day as soon as my period finished ( a couple of exceptions), and it seemed to do the trick on both times! I think the advice given is usually 2-3 times per week.

We would DTD every other day till I got a positive OPK, then DTD that night, the following night, and the night after. Then would continue every 2-3 nights rest of my cycle. Best of luck

Every other day throughout the cycle until we got to the fertile period and then every day. 4 more days until AF is due so hopefully it's worked.

I think you might be doing the bulk of the shagging too late unless you tend to have a 30 day plus cycle.
If you are closer to 28 days then you need to do 8 10 12 14 16 or something around about that so that you get 3-4 times in the week leading up to ovulation.

My cycle was 33 days last month and 29 the month before.

I think if your cycles tend to go up to 33 days you should be doing 10. 12, 14, 16,18. Perhaps leaving out the ten if you can't be arsed with it and perhaps adding a 20 as "insurance".

Basically you need to have more sex and not leave it so late in your cycle. If you can't find the time for enough, why not use a clearblue monitor which tells you each month when the right days are?
