hi y'all. Been ttc for 2yrs+. no baby so far. Had mc in march at 8.2 weeks: it was a symptomless pregnancy. Am on cd 15 of a 25 day cycle. For the past three days I've had a 'heavy' feeling in lower abdomen, a bit like when Im on my period. Could this be indicative of an underlying problem preventing us from conceiving? OPKs no good at the moment, especially as cycle length been shrinking from a regular 28 days, to a 25 day one for the past two! All advice welcome. Many thanks

Hi wishing
So sorry to hear of your mc. I tend to get a similar 'heavy' feeling around ovulation time - maybe its that? It would fit in with your cycle days. I havent always had ovulation pain and it only started in the months following my own ectopic at 8weeks. Since then, Ive noticed it each month. Not sure if this is just a result of being more aware but perhaps a similar thing is occuring with you?

Was sorry to learn of your mc.

I was wondering if you as a couple are currently under the care of a gynae at a subfertility unit. GP should refer you to such a person if this has not already happened. Both of you should be tested further to see what the underlying problem is.

Any changes to the cycle such as the heavy feeling you've mentioned should be reported to the GP.

Thank you Lucy and Attila. OPKs don't register. Appointment made with gp for next week. Thankyou x
