Longest possible gap between pg symptoms & BFP?

I've had some symptoms which could suggest I'm pg, but POAS has been consistently negative. My periods haven't returned yet after 18 m.o. DS was born (I'm bf'ing) so it's unlikely - although still possible - that I'm pg.

I want to be able to take painkillers other than paracetemol, but I don't want to if there's any chance I could be pg.

What's the longest possible gap between symptoms starting and getting a BFP (assuming frequent POAS, that is)?

I don't know the answer to your question. But if you haven't had periods yet perhaps your symptoms might be hormones of your menstrual cycle starting up again. A sensitive pg test (first response for example) can pick up a pregnancy very early so if you do one of those and it is negative, after lets say, a week maximum, it is highly unlikely you are pregnant at that point. Thanks - that sounds like a good plan. :)
