Is a digital preg test better?

Are digital tests more sensitive? What I'm really wondering is if the very faint line that some people see on the original preg tests that is a very early positive, would actually be picked up by the digital test?

thanks everyone

No,
TBH ive tried them all, the cheepy ones from home stores are the best, and you get 2 in a pack so if you are not sure you can do another a day or so later.

digi ones are expensive, very very expensive.

hi

the clear blue one is measures at 50, you can get extra sensitive ones of ebay that measure at 10.

I use the ebay ones but have a pack of clearblue digitals for when i eventually get a positive just to confirm it!

I think lots of people use clear blue digital cos its takes the guessing out of 'is that a line' but its not an ultra early test

Good luck x

I would say do a cheapo. If you think you see a line, wait a bit then use a digi test. I have been keeping a cb test in the cupboard gathering dust for months now...
Do not use a digi to do an early test, it's a waste of money!

I just bought some of those thanks loobylou

I have only ever bought clearblue digital before but they are a bit pricey. I'm also pretty sure I'm not pregnant this month so don't want to pay a lot of money to see 'not pregnant' on the screen Sad

Better to have to many then run out when you really need them! :)

Yes they do, i think its bout £6 for 50.

Ive just checked and ive got 10 left so im going to use those up this month and dont think ill replace them. Im lucky to have had a 29 day cycle for the last 4 months so i think im at the point where i know when i need to dtd and the rest is just about luck!

This will be our 3rd month of trying, how about you?

It will be our third month as well for our first baby.

I thought I had it sussed because my cycles have been 34 and 35 days for the last eight months since I stopped the depo injection. But this month it has completely thrown me and is now 33 days.

I looked at about 4 ovulation calculators online based on a 34 day cycle and they gave me various dates within a 7 day timeframe and we dtd on five of those days. So I thought we had a good chance.

Oh well. Will try ovulation sticks this month and dtd every bloody day Grin

maybe ill keep using them just incase!! My boyfriend is away for a few days so we will miss the 1st day of trying but like you im gonna talk to him about dtd every day!

Find it awkward to ask him about these things, we both want a baby but he is very relaxed about things and i dont wanna seem like a crazy fool who only thinks about timings and poas!!!
