I know the luteal phase is meant to be roughly the same each month. However, last month I started testing with opk and came out with a luteal phase of just 10 days. I did have an extremely stressful month though and whole cycle was very short - just 25 days. My average is 29-30 days.
This month opk showed up positive one day later than last month, so I think I ovulated on day 17. This should mean af arriving a day later on day 27 if what I have read about luteal phase is true, yet in general my cycle is nearly always longer than this.
So could my luteal phase have been abnormally short last month due to stress? Could my luteal phase be longer this month as I have been much more chilled out? Or do you think stress would not have this shortening effect? Right now I'm not sure whether to expect af on Thursday or on Sunday based on normal average cycle. Very confused!
