I live in a 3 bed, newly renovated house in Hackney (E9). If I say so myself, but the house is blinking lovely!

Downstairs, there's new oak wood floors throughout. There's a big kitchen with newly fitted kitchen, poured concrete worktop, large table (could fit 12 around it) and lots of light - part of it is a glass roof and there's large folding glass doors out onto the garden. It's London so the garden is pretty compact, but there's ample room for chairs and tables and BBQ. It's surrounded by plants and flowers in the borders too. The living room is two rooms knocked together - tons of space. It's a family home and we have lots of toys in drawers and a piano. There's an extra loo downstairs too.

Upstairs, there's three bedrooms with new carpets throughout. One is our 'spare room' with double bed and hanging rail, there's a children's bedroom with one single bed (but lots of floor space for more if needed - we have a blow up mattress) and the main double bedroom with lots of space. There's a bathroom with power shower/bath.

The house is a 4 minute walk to Homerton train station which is 2 stops on the overground (6 mins) to Stratford and 4 stops the other way to Highbury & Islington, which connects with the Victoria line. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the West End.

We're looking to swap for a house or cottage for 1 or 2 weeks during the Olympic period. Preferably somewhere near a beach!

Perhaps you've got tickets to part of the Games but don't have anywhere to stay? Or just want to be part of the action - there's going to be live screens in the local parks. Victoria Park is a few minutes walk away, Hackney Marshes about 10 mins walk.
