House swaps

3 bed house in Los Angeles- any takers?

Does anyone fancy 10 days to a fortnight in Los Angeles?

So I am just putting this out here as I see this area is not that busy. We would like to come back to the UK for a holiday but after paying flights cannot really justify the expense of accomodation when we will spend the whole time visiting relatives....not really a holiday more a dutycallsvisit.

So I was thinking that maybe we could flat or house swap?

We would consider something in the following areas
York
Bury St Edmunds
Cambridge
London

We have a 3 bed house up in the hills with fantastic views, a yard with sunloungers ( sorry no pool) in a very pretty and safe part of LA.

We are close to a some great tourist attractions( and of course there is always Disney down the freeway), less than 2 hours from santa barbara( which is fab) and let me say that LA has got loads of stuff for kids to do but when friends come they often just hit the beach for most of the time. We are on the pasadena side so it is a 45 minute drive to the beach when traffic flow is good.

Anyway we are pretty flexible with dates- would rather come in spring or summer or early fall.

Our house has 2 double beds, a nursery with cot, 2 bathrooms but we have blow up beds too.

We would need a two -3 bed place with parking.

Can send photos if anyone fancies it.
Let me tell you, the way the sun shines here.....it is hard not to enjoy whatever you do!

Hi, we live in Birmingham - right in the middle of England - in a lovely suburb (Harborne) but still only 10 minutes from the city centre with great michelin-starred restaurants etc. We are about 40 mins from Stratford upon Avon and about the same from the cotswolds. London is an easy day trip and is about 1h20 on the train. Everywhere in England is an hour and a half from Birmingham on the motorways!

Our house is a 4 bed detached house with a big garden, there are 2 double bedrooms and 2 other bedrooms with single beds (and one trundle bed). We're all set up for kids ( we have 2 of our own - aged 7 and 5). We have off road parking and are a short walk to Harborne high street with its bars, restaurants and supermarkets.

Let me know if you're interested!

hi!

i would be very interested! - we have 3 double bedrooms, garden and parking - centre of ipswich, 45 minute drive to bury st eds, hour and a bit to cambridge (but much easier by train due to parking there), an hour to london liverpool street by train, station a ten minute walk from the house (i would be happy to swap cars also)

ipswich has some decent restaurants within walking distance of the house - an attractive waterfront area and some lovely parks.

3 bed house In Ireland !!
Ok so it's not England but just a splash across the water in gorgeous Donegal, Ireland. Brand new 3 bed house in rural location, 10 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes to Londonderry. My 8 yr old daughter and I have flights booked to LA in August(part of RTW trip) and would love to house swap - long shot I know but worth a post :)
