Baby's feet and gravel - shoes?

Slightly random title there! We're off to spend a week with some friends who have a gravel courtyard and a garden with lots of gravel paths. DD is just at the cruising stage and loves practicing walking if I hold her hands. Should I get her some sort of shoes to stop the gravel hurting? I wouldn't walk on it barefoot so kind of need the equivalent of baby flip-flops!

Alternatively, does anyone have cheery stories of babies walking happily on gravel paths?! She does plenty of crawling so we'll keep her in leggings for the sake of her knees, just don't want sore feet to put her off the big cruise.

jumpjockey: I can quite imagine that walking in bare feet or even crawling on gravel is not the most comfortable of things to be doing!!!!! I know I couldn't do it!!! Feel sure Clarks must do something extra small for babies' feet! Enjoy your holiday.
