Temp for 2 days then sickness and diarrhea now a rash....help please?

My 13month old had a very high temperature for two days then was sick and has had diarrhea for a couple of days, she has just got up from a nap with a rash all over her torso and neck.

It is definitely not chicken pox (she had it at 4months and it is a rash not spots)

Spoke to GP yesterday about her other symptoms and he said it was viral gastroenteritis. Do you get a rash with this? Is it her wee body's reaction to the virus or could it be something else.

Phoned GP again, the are getting a nurse to call back in about half an hour.

Any advice welcome!

it could be viral but i wouldnt take any chance if been so ill also alot of hand foot and mouth going about

take into a & e if too worried or ask for gp- visit

i would rather see a gp than a nurse hiope lil one feels better soon x
