DS had a massive bang to his face a month ago and it was very badly bruised. The doctor said it was fine and bruising would go in a couple of weeks. Once I was able to touch it after nearly two weeks I felt a lump, I'm a complete idiot and assumed it was a bone sticking out so took him to the doctor ( didn't occur to be that it was a lump from having a bump) .
He had an X-ray and the doctor confirmed it was just like getting a bump on the head and everything would be ok and it would disappear. The lump is still there though, it's still as big and you can see it under the slight bruise that's still there.
How long should it last? Should it still be hurting him?
