I've been to the doctors 3+ times about his skin. I will be going back (when I can get an appointment) I've been given steroid cream the last time but that was for a small patch of what we thought was impetigo but seeing as it kept coming back after antibiotic cream was stopped they said it may be fungal.
Anyway the skin appears to be getting worse and spreading.
It feels very rough, is dry has lines running through it almost cracks. He doesn't itch or appear in pain but I'm wondering if anyone recognises it? I'm using dermol 500 in the bath and coconut oil to moisturize as I'm terrified of putting anything on his skin for fear of making it worse. We've now finished the 10 days of steroid cream but that was just on his shoulder anyway not the actual arm. I'm at my wits end! It's all over his arms and shoulders very red but the pics don't show that well.

I would go back to the gp or try the steroid cream on the arm as well.

I've got an appointment booked for next Tuesday Shock long way off. Unless it gets much worse they won't give me an urgent appointment...equally they refuse to advise whether to use the cream on the rest of the skin.
