We picked up my DSS on Friday night he had a couple of spots 1 on his eyebrow and 1 on his arm now we've noticed more on his back, 1 more on his arm, 2 more on his face. He's 4, going back to his DMs tomorrow night. Should we take him to to walk in centre tomorrow morning. We know she won't take him (another thread).

Phone nhs24 for advice? Might need to get him seen today. Not sure what it is but best to be safe especially with a newborn in the house too..

Definately take him to walk in. It's not worth taking chances with little ones.

I've taken DS in numerous times for various things. Turns out they were all easily treatable or not a major concern. I don't regret taking him in.

Not yet, checked everyone's temp. All normal even DSS with the pox. Been googling signs in a new born and so far DD seems fine

It usually takes 2 weeks from when you get infected with chicken pox to when the spots appear. So if anyone
else in your family such as a baby, hasn't had CP, it's likely they'll show the signs in just under 2 weeks.
