Discharge in baby's nappy

I found some creamy discharge in my 6 month old daughter's nappy this morning. No smell. Does anyone know if this is normal or a sign of some kind of infection? She has had a bad cold recently, not sure if that is related. Thanks

My daughter had this around 1-2 months old and I read it was due to her being exposed to my hormones when I was pregnant. 6 months old seems a little late on for your pregnancy hormones to be affecting her. I'm sure she's fine but maybe go and see a doctor if you're concerned.

It could just be because of her cold. It causes the mucus membranes to create more mucus than usual and there are mucus membranes right through the body. That's what I've been led to believe but I am not a dr. Maybe somebody will come along who can confirm this.

Thanks both. It hadn't happened again since so I assume it wasn't anything sinister
