Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone had any experience of silent reflux and how to basically stay sane through this time?
I've just had my daughter (5 days today) and since birth she has struggled to sleep at all during the night. The only way we have managed to get her to sleep is by holding her on our chest. This is doable at the moment as hubby is on leave but he will soon be returning to work and I doubt 3 hrs of sleep every night is going to work. I also worry that I won't be able to cope as well as I'll be doing more on my own during the day.
So how did people cope?
Tried a lot of the things like, short feeds with frequent burping, gentle massage of the tummy, bicycle exercises etc. but come evening it's like gas demons take over!
I watch her in her crib and she is in so much discomfort and I'd do anything to help her.
I just wonder why she's able to sleep in the day but not the night.
So what did people do?
Thanks
