8yr old ds pants always smelling of wee

Hi. My 8 yr old sons pants always seem to be smelling. He says he doesn't think he's having any accidents and I've told him to make sure he wipes himself well after going to the toilet but it's just the same. Has anyone else had this issue?

It's cos they don't wipe, they shake. So drops of wee go on pants.

Ds (5) is the same.
