Chicken Pox Hurting...

6yo has had chicken pox since Tuesday morning. She has them everywhere but has one on her tummy that she keeps saying really hurts and she cant touch it. It doesnt look any different to the others. It has burst though but some of the others have as well.

Any ideas? Could it be early signs of infection? Can you put antiseptic cream on it?? Thanks.

Maybe give GP a call for advice? If it is infected it will usually look red and angry, not sure if it could be an early stage of infection. I suppose disinfecting it won't harm.
Hopefully she gets better soon.

Thanks for the reply. I have a feeling they hurt just before they dry out. Most are drying out now but some are still hurting and they are still blisters.

Nothing helps. Someone needs to invent a good cream that actually works!!

Have you tried that foam stuff? Quite good.
