Possible conjunctivitis

Hi, my little girl has a yellows gunk coming from the corner of her eye, it was just one, but I've spotted some in the other eye now! When she woke from her nap her eye was stuck shut with it. Had to bathe it and it just keeps coming out. I think it could be conjunctivitis and so my real question is: do I do anything today? Like get her medical attention? Or just wait til tomorrow for GP? Just worried the possibility of it getting worse between now and actually getting an appointment. Doesn't really seem like an a&e kind of situation.... Thanks

just go to the chemist, either today or tomorrow and in the meantime wipe each eye seperately with cotton wool and cooled boiled water

I did see a pharmacist and as she is under 2 they couldn't give us anything. Will see GP tomorrow but in the meantime it seems to be getting worse :( poor little thing. We've had so many different things so far but this seems particularly nasty as it looks worse coming from the eyes!! Just feels odd, if that makes sense!

Try wiping eyes with camomile tea.
