Probably because it is so high in sugar.

I've given it to DD (2.6) on the odd occasion, but only when VERY diluted.

Thank you all for your replies. I've given it to my children on the odd occasion because they have seen me drinking it, and want some of mummy's drink. I love the strawberry flavour. What are your childrens favourite drinks? ?

She's tried tea, various juices and a few diluted squashes. Her favourites are

  1. Water
  2. Milk
  3. Diluted pure orange juice

Mrscosmopilite. I wish mine would drink milk. They have it on cereal and have yogurt and cheeses but will not drink milk.
