Hello all. My lil girl has been getting headaches fairly frequently. At first I thought she was getting viruses as she has complained of feeling sick and has looked pale for a few days each time but no temp.
However last night she got out of bed to tell us she yet again had a headache but this time felt dizzy and her eyes were blurry and everything looked swollen. We gave her nurofen and she was fine but woke up looking pale and unable to see properly (blurry and swollen vision). By lunchtime her headache was returning but I think we nipped it in the bud by giving her nurofen straight away??? This has now alerted me to migraines. I've never had one myself and it's not in our family but could she be suffering? She's going through a few hormonal changes at the mo - could this be causing them?
She tells us that her vision has not returned to normal today. Is that normal for a migraine or should I be really worried about this? We had her eyes tested about 6 mths ago and all is fine. I'll check again though. Does anyone have experience of this? Thanks all.
